All Those Nights- Chase Coy

I first off want to apologize for not blogging for awhile. I have been crazy busy with school, homework, and trying to somewhat have a social life which isn't working out as much as I wanted. I can also see how many blog views I have and it isn't that much so for the few of you who do read this, tell people! And I will try to also get some more constant readers. Thanks for reading!

So this song is courtesy of the same fantastic person that showed me South Jordan. We were talking about how songs can definitely represent a certain time in someone's life. I still think of bar/bat mitzvahs when I hear "Hey Ya" and "Get Low." She showed me this song "All Those Nights" and told me that it represented her Senior year of high school. I started to listen to it and fell in love with Chase Coy's voice along with the lyrics that also represented those last days of high school that I enjoyed sooo much. Obviously the song has to do with going away from home in a year, but the worries that Chase talks about really coincided with my life and the lives of many high school seniors. While listening to the song, I realized that it could have to do with many instances of people leaving including heading off to war.

I decided I would look up more about Chase Coy to find out about his life and possibly his meaning behind this song. He is 19 years old and lives in Indiana (younger than me!). He seems to really not be known by anyone and therefore just doing some shows here and there. I can't really find any proof about what he was directly intended to sing about in this song so if any of you know or can find out, I would love to hear it!

Since Chase isn't known too much around the US, tell your friends about him! He has a great voice and think he should be rewarded for it!

"As long as it makes them feel something, that’s the whole point of making music to me."- Chase Coy

Shout out to all my friends from high school! Love you and will never forget those "conversations about nothing til midnight!" and love the ones we still have!

Rating: 9/10 (I'm finding this rating system to be kind of stupid because I'm only picking songs I like. Therefore, I might stop it.)
