I've finally gotten into the flow of school work and therefore I have decided to post another song? Yes. Anyway I decided it was time to get around to some of my Christian rock music that I love. This song is a classic in my eyes since I have known it since I've started really listening to Christian rock music. This song is a more current, sophisticated version of the Sunday school song I sang every Sunday as a child, "This is the day". I think it is really cool how this artist brought that song that so many people know into a more popular version that I could listen to any day and not get annoyed with it.
More on the artist: Lincoln Brewster was born in Alaska and grew up with a troubled childhood involving violence from his stepfather. His mom and him found escape through music and God. Since then he has worked at his church along with become a rock star. I personally think he is just awesome! (and he's cute!)
Anyway, I really really love this song but then again music is one of the few ways I feel like I can connect with God. You might not be a Christian or might not have the same beliefs that I do, therefore, you might not like this song or might not feel the same way about it that I do.
I am always looking for new Christian rock songs to listen to, so if you happen to listen to it and know of some good songs then please send them my way!
